Nuts, apples, and honey: menu-worthy recipes

Honey, Apple, and Walnut Spas among the Slavs were closely associated with the harvest. At the end of August, it was time to start preparing for the cold and stocking up for the winter.

In apiaries, they began to collect honey; in the gardens, they collected apples and nuts from trees. But, of course, it could not do without a “sampling.” The homemakers baked apple pies, the men put on the mead, and the children dragged the nuts out of the sacks.

We invite you to prepare something tasty in honor of the new harvest. Be inspired by our recipes, repeat them in your kitchen, and be sure to tell us if everything worked out. And if you have any questions, ask them in the comments.
